Fight against yourself

“Sometimes the hardest battle is against yourself”- (www.thikpozitive.com) (Pinterest)

In our everyday life, we come across several problems, varying from light to intense based on what is at stake. These everyday battles, no matter what the intensity is are temporary and their negative impacts fade away with time. But one battle that we all fight sooner or later in life is the battle against ourselves.

A battle against our ideologies and thought process poses problems. Every person who is close to our heart is miles apart emotionally. It feels like being locked up in a room with only walls and no door out. It is a point in life where a person starts doubting his worth. You reach a state of depression where nor the internal strength, nor the external help reaches you.

Just when you think life is going to fall apart, you start seeing a ray of light from within you. A light that in a second makes that intense darkness to disappear. You suddenly find yourself in a completely different setting. Your perception and understanding of the world around you change and with that change your choices and reactions. This is the point where your mind has opened up to a different dimension- a higher state of mind.

Thereafter, you start seeing all the things around you that you craved for once are getting attracted to you. The game of life becomes very clear. But for all this to happen, you have to travel through that dark tunnel where you have to fight against yourself. The real inner strength is realized only when you are deprived of all the external help. It would be very hard in the beginning but this struggle is worth the changes it brings within you.

Let me know your views on this.

    1. Very well said Cheryl, protecting somebody from all the problems is the worst thing one can do to them. These experiences are the true treasures of life. For a child these things determine what they will grow up to be. Lessons should be given after experience and hard work. Take care!

  1. We can only move ahead if we have battled our own demons thriving inside our head! You have written so accurately!
