Happiness is not having what you want but wanting what you have


Every single living being on this planet is different from one another, in terms of appearance, perspective, actions, and ideologies. No two people can be completely the same in all respects. But there is one thing in common for all of us- happiness. Every living being on this planet is driven by a desire to be happy.

But what makes each one of us happy is different. This difference is based on our ideologies and perspectives. Depending on our state of mind, awareness, and consciousness, the external factors may or may not be under our control. Therefore, our happiness becomes uncertain.

Good news! It is possible for a person to be happy all the time. All it needs is a clear understanding of happiness, our vision, and a perspective shift. We all have a goal in our mind that we are working hard for. In our journey towards achieving it, we may come across many small successes and failures. The realization and understanding of how failure is playing a key role in preparing you for your success are very crucial for being happy. It is a bigger step towards your goal, even more than success.

Happiness is a state of mind

A simple shift in your perception of your failures is your key to happiness. With this shift, you will start appreciating every small effort and consequent result it produces. Appreciating your life the way it is is real happiness. The meaning of ‘want’ is to have a desire to possess or do something, which means, your source of happiness is something you do not possess yet. Your happiness always remains in the future.
