Way through Pain

” The only way out of a pain is through it”

Pain is an emotion that is an integral part of everyone’s life in some way or the other. We all have been through situations where we experience an enormous amount of pain. It may be because of a breakup, death of loved ones, being cheated on, etc. We all know what the dose of pain tastes like.

What matters is how we react when we are in pain. In my experience, when I lost a loved one in my life it was the worst experience till now. My tendency was to ignore every aspect of it. I tried to become very stubborn and did not cry my heart out or maybe that pain was too deep for me to express or explain. Five years have passed since then but it still has an impact on me. I did not realize it back then, but it is not correct to avoid the sensation of pain.

Pain is like a dark, long tunnel that scares us, confuses us, and makes us feel lost, but is actually a gateway. If we don’t go through it, we will find ourselves standing at that very point even years later. The only way out of this tunnel is passing through it with just the light of faith in the heart. Sooner or later, we will be overtaken by a better version.
I understand some losses and certain experiences are beyond repair. But standing stagnant at one point in life will not make the situation any better. Moving forward and embracing the changes at least reduces the pain.
