Changing Times

“The way to change other’s mind is with affection not with anger”

It would not be wrong to say that we are living in a transition period. Everywhere around the world, there is a conflict between the old and new ideologies. Clear groups have emerged that are engaging in a battle of words that very quickly takes an ugly face.
At this point, it becomes impossible for any side to listen or to understand the opinions of the other side, therefore the conflict unresolved.

Is there a better way to deal with this problem? What exactly is happening?

Most of us have a tendency to form opinions very quickly. There on we guard these opinions with our ego. When somebody suggests something new that is not in line with our existing beliefs and ideologies, our ego takes it on as a personal remark. We indulge in an argument, we become arrogant.

Even if we are sure that it is the other person who under some misconception or wrong ideology is forming a different opinion, it is very important on our part to be polite and put forth our point in a way which encourages further discussion and does not lead to a futile argument.

We are living in a period of change. If we are not careful with the way we deal with change or people who oppose change we might end up taking our society backward in time.

Think about it!
