Your first child

Your child is the most important part of your life, right?

Every parent is worried about their child’s future and works hard to give their child a better life. Isn’t it true?

We all know by now what is right and what is wrong, what is good for us and what is not. We all know about people who have succeeded in life, therefore, we all know what are we doing right and what are we doing wrong.

Unfortunately, despite all this awareness, we are overtaken by our laziness, distractions, and negativity. Therefore, we don’t perform to our best potential. We all have two personalities within us: one which is completely aware of right and wrong and wants to succeed in life (mother-like figure) and the other one, who is guided by emotions, doing whatever it feels like without wondering what is good for us and what is not (child-like figure).

Our action at every point is influenced by these two personalities.

Just like how a mother constantly cares for a child and carves its personality with her upbringing, similarly, we have to constantly guide our emotions through our knowledge and awareness.

Let me know your views on this.

  1. The inner child needs to go out and play sometimes, after responsibilities are fulfilled, of course! Discipline and dedication to duty are admirable qualities, but can be over-emphasized! We all need some downtime. 🙂 Take care, Shruti.
