The test of courage is to bear defeat without losing heartAnonymous
Finally, 2020 has passed. It was nothing less than a rollercoaster ride for all of us. With challenges at every stop, it taught us so many lessons. It taught us the importance of family, respect for nature, and work-life balance. It gave us a chance to devote some time to our hobbies. It connected all of us.
The advent of the new year and the end of 2020 has brought a wave of positivity in many people’s life. I came across the above quote on the second day of this year and somewhat felt very inspired. We all have come across situations where it seems that we have reached a dead end. All the routes seemed to be blocked and the entire universe appears to be standing against us.
Everything seems to be shattered.
Real courage is getting up at this point, locking eyes with the problems ahead, and putting in all the possible effort to get back in the game.
Courage is not about putting in effort when you have the right tools. It is fighting the battle by depending on the strength of your mind and intentions.
We as a society have been through a lot in the past few days. Looking around, we can see people suffering and losing their trust in the existing institutions. There is a lot of unrest in society.
This is rock bottom.
It is time to show some courage.
We are going to rise back economically, socially, and morally.
We are going to work on our mistakes to apply whatever we learned last year in our lives.
Finally, when this phase will be read by future generations, our actions will be one that inspires them.
